MEGHAN Markle tried to fix her strained relationship with the Royal Family by sending the King a box of goodies from her new brand, experts have claimed.
The Duchess of Sussex, 43, launched a lifestyle brand named As Ever last month, which included products such as a jar of honey priced at £22.

The rangesold out immediately, but some celebs had PR packages filled with the pricey treats sent straight to their doors.
Among those who apparently received a sample box was King Charles , the father of Meghan’s husband, Prince Harry.
Discussing the matter with Fox News, royal expert Neil Sean said that according to a source, Meghan said: “A sample box of delights has been delivered to Clarence House with a note.”
Adding to this, Ian Pelham Turner told the US news company that the gift was the mum-of-two’s way of “building bridges”, with the Firm, after she and Harry stepped down as senior working royals in 2020.
“I understand how she may not feel respected still, but tiny gestures like this are her way of showing compassion for what the king is going through and helping to rebuild bridges between Prince William, Prince Harry and the king“, the expert said.
Meghan and Charles have not always had a strained bond, and the Suits star even asked the 76 year old to walk her down the aisle when she wed Harry in 2018, as she does not have a relationship with her own father.
The relationship between the pair is said to have started off strong, with Charles reportedly acting as Meghan’s “mentor” and education her on royal history.
The King also supported Harry and Meghan’s move to Frogmore and paid tens of thousands of pounds to do up their royal home.
However, Charles was reportedly left “deeply hurt” after Meghan claimed in a 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey that a member of the Royal Family had raised “concerns” about what the colour of Prince Archie‘s skin would be before he was born.
The Duchess of Sussex has only been to the UK once since she stepped down as a royal, for Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral back in 2022.
Meghan launched her lifestyle brand on April 2, a move that coincided with the release of her Netflix cookery show, With Love Meghan.
According to the website, the collection of products aim to bring “surprise and delight” to “every day”.
Some of the products featured in the range include crepe mix, raspberry spread, herbal tea and limited-edition Wildflower Honey with Honeycomb.
A statement said: “This collection offers a glimpse into Meghan’s approach to elevated, everyday living and is inspired by her long-lasting love of cooking, entertaining, and hostessing with ease.”
